This operertta uses TS Eliot's famous poem, Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock as the text for an operetta or song cycle. The operetta takes place in a bar where our protagonist, J Alfred Prufrock, is expressing his interests and anxieties in engaging the bar's female patrons in a conversation or a dance. In the end, he can never work up the courage to start a meaningful relationship with any of the women in the bar.
